​Family Health Team, seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician to provide locum coverage for a 5-month maternity leave, beginning February 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, interdisciplinary primary care team serving the Six Nations community.

Position Details

· Start Date: February 2027

· Duration: 5 months preferred (flexible)

· Schedule: 0900-1600, 4 days per week, on-site with evening clinics 1230-2000 once a week and half day Saturday 0900-1200, once every 5 weeks

· Compensation: $34,100 monthly

· Patient Roster: Approximately 300 attached patients

· Patient Volume: Average of 8 patients per day

· EMR: PSSuite

· New Patient Intakes: Will continue throughout the locum term

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

· Providing comprehensive primary care to attached patients

· Managing and responding to EMR inbox communications through PSSuite

· Reviewing test results and specialist consultations

· Addressing prescription renewals and follow-up care

· Participating in all aspects of ongoing patient care throughout the coverage period

Team-Based Support

The locum physician will be joining a well-established and supportive clinical team, including:

· 5 Family Physicians

· 3 Nurse Practitioners

· 1 Registered Nurse (RN) (shared amongst 2 physicians)

· 1 Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) (shared amongst 2 physicians)

· Dedicated Reception Support
